I went here to get a prescription for new contact lenses. The services was pretty good. The man at the counter was nice as was my doctor. However, I had to wait a while for him to check my eyes. I think he was on the phone or handling other business. Once he returned, though, he was very nice and checked my eyes thoroughly. I had gone to an optometrist on 34th and 6th ave (in Manhattan) prior to this visit, where they charged exorbitantly and did not even give me a thorough examination. In fact, the Family Vision Center doctor found discrepancies with my last prescription and fixed them on my new one. He was more interested in my getting the best treatment than my previous doctor. I definitely recommend this place. They accept most insurance, however I wasn't able to use insurance on a contact lens prescription. I'm not sure about the quality of glasses since I didn't get any here.
