They claim to beat anyone's price around if you sell them silver or gold - yeah, maybe that's because no one else is really around.\r It's a father, mother, and son operation. The ruse is to let the mother and/or son give you a horrible price, then, if you complain that you've been offered more elsewhere, the man comes out from the back with a more reasonable offer. The mother and son tried to question the authenticity of my gold, saying they didn't think it was 14K. But the old man said it was. Then he offered me 425 dollars. I said to give me a day or two to think about it, to which he said, "Well, don't take too long, or I'll take back my offer."\r I mailed my gold to an online place (they insure and pay postage). A day later I got an offer of 505.30.\r Soooo, if you're desperate for money on the spot, and you can weave thru the web of deceit, you can try it.
