Living in the Richmond, I basically lived at China Beach through high school. Started in the sand; graduated to the grass; and was finally confirmed space on the deck. Great place to swim, with elementary body surfing. Understand, however, serious shrinkage will occur due to the water temperature. It's nice to see the elimination of reference to James D Phelan State Park. No one ever called it that.
