My experience with Mary is not based on her ability to bake or decorate cakes; it is based on her professionalism. I signed up for cake classes the beginning of 2012. She had to cancel and stated she’d issue me a refund. After about 3 months of calling, emailing, etc. she finally sent me a check. She never called me back or replied to one of my emails explaining why it was taking so long. The check ended up bouncing. Again, I emailed, called with no response. Not once did she contact me with an explanation. I went to the local magistrate’s office to file a claim and won since she did not show up to the hearing. She was ordered to refund me and pay costs incurred for the bounced check and the filing of the complaint but never paid. I’m in the process of having the Monroe County Sheriff issue an order of execution to put a levy on her property. All she had to do was call with some sort of explanation but I never got a response from her. I would never recommend her to anyone based on my experience. A true professional would never behave this way.
