We boarded the ""Agressor"" boat, which is a no-frills cruising boat. After coasting out of the Newport/Balboa Harbor, it took a little time to see any sea life. Unfortunately, we weren't able to see any whales... bummer. But we did see a ton of common dolphins and cute, lazy sea lions. In all, it wasn't much, but hubby and I still enjoyed the cruise and beautiful sights. Since there isn't any narration on the boat, you definitely wanna keep your eyes open and/or just listen up for the ""oooo's"" and ""ahhh's"" when people see something out in the ocean.
