As far as the other review goes, I'm not sure I understand why Ackerman's should repair an item bought else where, as they are not primarily a repair service. I had excellent experience with them for several years, and their prices were good! They were great when my washing machine needed repair, went beyond the ordinary. However they just gave up on repairing my stove, for which they'd have to travel, but they were charging for it! I called three times and no one from service ever called me back. I bought a stove, refrigerator, and washer/dryer from them.
