I normally hate to complain, but i have been moved out of hamburg farms since september of 2011. it is now February 16th almost march and i still have not received my deposit. I loved living there and for the most part everything in my 2 bed room town home work great. A little over priced but thats what you get when you live in hamburg. Well my roommate moved out and didnt pay bills the last 3 months i lived there. So i paid the bills because i didnt want to take the credit hit. So I had the apartment professionally cleaned to regain the deposit of over $1300 of living there. My roommate after i had the deposit schedule to be sent to my forwarding address switched the address after hamburg farms was fully aware he had just left and didnt pay bills rent etc. Well turns out you need 2 signatures to deposit the check. Some how he cashed the check with out any endorsement. I call hamburg farms and they tell me that this is an open and shut case... that it will be resolved quickly. THey have me fill out some info and send it to their bank. After filling it out they say it was incorrectly done a month later and i have to re fill out and express ship them this form ranging over $20 in shipping. The finally get it approve and now say that i have to wait until his bank fixes the issue and it could be 3-6 additional months. This process started in october. When it comes to your money they will fight tooth and nail to get it. When it comes to your money cross your fingers trying to get it.
