Geek Thieves 8/5/2011

Today i drove to the Best Buys in Roseville Ca, and spoke to a employee at the Geek Squad in regards to a resume i had stored on an old floppy disc. I retired a few years ago when floppy's where still used and unfortunately my new computer has no floppy drive, so i thought to take it to the Geek Squad as they are close to where i live. I arrived and showed the employee the floppy and a memory stick and asked if he could open the document and transfer it to the memory stick i handed him. He asked me to wait a moment and when he returned he said he could do it but it would cost me $29.00 dollars. No that's not a misprint. I took my items back from him and drove to Kinko's who do not claim to be computer guys, but within about 5 minutes after entering the store i had my resume transferred to my memory stick. I tried to give them some money but the guy said glad to help, come see us when you need something. With businesses all over Roseville closing their doors i thought customer service would be a priority with anyone trying to survive in this economy, that's obviously not the case with these thieves at Best Buy/Geek Squad. more
