ART THIEVES. X-Large used the beloved ""Chump"" character from Residue Comics in their 2010 fall line on their ""CHUMP TEE."" X-Large didn't bother to get permission from the artist to do so, nor did the artist receive any acknowledgement or compensation for use of his creative property. This character has been around for over 20 years and is well known among artists and independent comics collectors all around the world, as is the creator a great friend to our community of artists and art lovers. It is my hope X-Large will do the honorable thing and support the artists whose hard work they feel so compelled to use on their products instead of resorting to stealing from them.
