A little piece of heaven is how I’d describe my facial with Shannon Paterno! I rarely indulge in any sort of spa treatment for myself but when I do I expect it to be enjoyable and to address any issue I may have. I am a minimalist when it comes to my skin care. I believe that less is better. I wear little to no makeup and this has faired well for me that is until now. What’s changed is that I am starting menopause and my skin is now dryer and becomes easily irritated. I scheduled an appointment with Shannon and explained my concerns. She was very friendly and attentive and suggested what would work best for my skin and assured me that this was normal and could recommend products I could use at home. The facial was so relaxing that I began to doze off. Shannon’s touch and the products she used were very soothing. I felt like a new women when she was done. I didn’t want it to end. My skin felt great and I received compliments from friends and my husband whom usually doesn’t notice little changes like that. I purchased the products that Shannon recommended for my skin and I am delighted with how well they perform. I purchased a cleanser that is gentle and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. The moisturizer I purchased is wonderful. It has a subtle fragrance and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated without feeling greasy. I highly recommend Shannon for facials and I loved the friendly and warm atmosphere at Susan Hart Boutique Salon.
