I visited this store today to get some specialty color M&Ms. My sons also asked to choose some candy, so we ended up with three bags of bulk candy plus some other items. We waited in line behind one person and when our turn came around, the woman at the register actually had her hands on our products to start checking us out... but then noticed a girl with one bottle of water. She said, ""oh, she's a clerk and she's on her break. Her time is short"" and checked the girl out ahead of us, despite the fact that we were in line first. This girl paid for her bottle of water with a credit card. I paid for my purchases with cash and it took less time. In addition, the cashier engaged the mall employee in small talk, thereby increasing the amount of time necessary to check her through.
That cashier placed a higher value on another person's time than on mine. She had no idea what my situation was. I was highly offended and will not be back at this store.
