Went to Tru Awakenings after getting a Groupon, and didn't know what to expect. Walked in first thing in the morning and was greeted with a smile and offered something to drink. The staff was very sweet and nice and as I waited for my appointment, the staff checked in and set me up with some magazines to read. Great atmosphere, and think I found myself falling asleep during my conditioning treatment.
Nicole ended up being my stylist, and I couldn't have asked for better results. I had long curly hair and it's hard to find someone that knows how to cut it just right so you don't turn out with a triangle on your head. As soon as I saw that Nicole had similar hair, I knew I was in good hands. I got my hair cut and colored and walked out feeling like a million bucks with my smooth and now gorgeous looking hair. I also got the hair conditioning treatment as I have curly hair that gets dried out easily during the winter months. I think they were running a deal and got it for $10, which is WELL worth the extra few bucks. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for affordable and top of the line service.
