I followed my old stylist, Julie, to her new location at Envy Salon and applaud her for her excellent choice to seek employment there. It wasn't a far drive from north Austin and was easy to find right off the interstate. Parking was free and surprisingly for a "downtown" location, not a problem to find. The owner himself greeted me at the front desk and offered me a refreshment of my choice (including a glass of red or white wine). The atmosphere was very pleasant, the music wasn't overtly loud or awful like you will find in some salons. The price was actually quite reasonable compared to what I was expecting for the location and environment.
