We went here on a recommendation from a friend who had tried their food at a music fest in Houston. \r

We ordered the elk sausage, lamb and duck. It took about 1.5 hours to get our food which was really no biggie since we weren't starving to death and it was a beautiful night to sit out at the old picnic tables and drink some delicious and reasonably priced beers. So be warned--if your blood sugar is prone to dropping or you are looking for a quick meal, this ain't your place so plan accordingly and pregame with a little snackie. There is a sign up front which claims that it isn't ""fast food"" so ""shut up and wait"" or something to that effect. Very sassy. \r

The crowd is hipster-y. The neighborhood is dodgy. The sausages served on a pretzel roll are amazing. Priced at 6 dollars each, they were reasonable. We ordered ours with ""chefs choice"" on the toppings and the chef did good. It was dark out so I could not see exactly what was on each of the dogs but they were all delicious. \r

If you want an off the beaten path place with interesting food, I highly recommend Moon Tower Inn.
