I took in my Honda for 2 things: A state inspection and to check the brakes as I was beginning to hear squeaking. The brakes the only work that was done was to replace the brake fluid. I was told the brakes were still in spec, that what I heard must have been brake dust. The squeaking never went away, and by 3 weeks later was grinding. Taking it to another shop the mechanic removed the wheel and allowed me to see for myself. The pads were gone on both front brakes. It was metal to metal grinding at that point. Fortunately the rotors could be saved. Take your vehicle to Grandview Motors at your peril. You've been warned!
