After so many years of loving their smothered burritos we fell in love with the more varied and authentic Red Iguana. We thought we'd go back for the old times sake to the original La Frontera. OMG! The place stunk of cleaning fluid. The patrons were scary. The service was terrible. The order was messed up. All would have been forgiven (it is a ghetto kind of place) but the food was just terrible. I will never go back. The Red Iguana is just so fantastic, with their mole sauces etc., not to mention a variety of margaritas, that even a 1 hour wait is worth it.
