I just wanted to thank you for helping us with Kingston. 10/20/2011

When we took Kingston to you this summer, we thought he was a lost cause:) He is a 3 1/2 yr old boxer who seemed set in his ways. As you know, we were having problems with him running away since we started remodeling the backyard (no fence). Every opportunity he had to get out a door, he would be gone for 30 mins-1 hour. Being that I am pregnant, I realized quickly that I could no longer keep chasing him, and I certainly wouldn't be able to worry about him after I have this baby. He was also quite a jumper when greeting guests at the door. Since we took him to you, he has honestly been incredible! Everyday that I picked him up during training, you guys insisted that he was a quick learner and was doing great. I had a hard time believing it, but I figured it was worth a shot. When my husband and I picked him up on that Friday, we were shocked! I was so impressed at how well he responded to the shock collar. Once we took him home, he continued to impress us. But now, he is truly a different dog! He has much more freedom at home, because we trust him, which ends up making him a happier dog too. As my husband worked on a new patio and deck all summer, Kingston would just sit and watch him, or play around in the backyard...never running away!!!! We still don't have a fence, and we are at a point that we can not have our eyes on him for several minutes, and as soon as we say, ""Kingston, come"" he comes running right to us! We are so happy and so are our friends and family. Everyone comments on how much better he is, and our parents are even willing to watch him now, because he responds well to them too! We needed this training before we brought our new baby home, and it makes us much more confident that he will be a good dog once we do that in December. On top of not running away, he no longer jumps on guests when they walk in, he stays out of the trash can, and off of the counter. Most impressively, we taught him to ""Park it"" (lay down and stay) on the hallway rug until we tell him ""You're free."" We use this command when guests come to the door. I attached a picture of him hanging out in the backyard while his daddy was working. He may not look happy, but he was just relaxing after running for 20 mins. I think it's a cute pic. So thank you again for making us so happy with our pooch...I thought I couldn't love him anymore than I already did! Take Care, Katie Mills more
