I live in Ashland & find Food Lion to be conveinant, yet not always friendly. The office staff & deli staff are always upbeat, product knowledgable & friendly. However, the check out clerks are rude, & very put-offish, especially to persons using EBT or any other form of govt payment. and I know for a fact that some of these clerks are on food stamps or WIC themselves, it's demeaning to be judged like that.
