I went into Koi after doing some research and reading all the great reviews for them here on CitySearch, and I'm happy to be able to contribute my positive review to the list!
I walked in to get an industrial (no, you dont HAVE to make an appointment at this shop but I would recommend it. I went on a Saturday and it was busy....my wait wasn't longer than like 8 or 9 minutes though) and everyone was super nice. DJ did my piercing and he was extremely polite and professional. He explained everything he was doing and was as gentle as a piercer can be! And as far as cleanliness goes, you could not ask for a more sterile shop.
I had a wonderful experience, I'm so happy with my piercing, I will be recommending Koi to everyone looking to get pierced!
(P.S. my piercing was like 60 something $. Price depends on the area you pierce, and then of course a tip should be left. I would've paid more because of the wonderful I experience I had though!)
