Ciao is one of the best restaurants in Toledo, and the best in Sylvania. I think I'd give them the edge food-wise over local competitors such as Mancy's Italian and Bravo. My favorite dish is the Bolognese, which is heavy, but delicious. On healthier occasions I usually order the Parmesan encrusted whitefish. The dining room is quite intimate and is a perfect place to take a date, though we usually eat in the bar area, which is much more casual. There is also a lovely outdoor patio in the summer (even though it does face Monroe St.). Happy hour specials are better than you would expect, and they also offer a free meal and dessert on your birthday.
