I travel quite a bit for my occupation, and I was recommended to Scruples while staying at a Hotel near Hartford. I had an afternoon off, so I decided to see if they could squeeze me in, and I am so glad that they did. I was delighted to see that I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in, then I was shown upstairs to the Spa. I liked the atmosphere, it was quaint, not pretentious, and the waiting area was beautiful....I felt as if I were in a traditional living room, sort of looked like mine! I had a deep tissue massage, and then proceeded to my facial, pedicure and manicure. I received a lot of attention, and felt a soothing relaxation come over me, from the onset of the massage! I have been to several Spas during my travels, and I have to say that I felt very welcome, pampered, and relaxed at Scruples. The staff played such a big part in that ; not only in their professionalism, but, in their warmth and concern over me as their customer. I think Scruples is a fine Day Spa and Hair Salon, and when I am in the area again, I will be certain to return.
