This place suffers from the same problem as the bookstore that it is located at: horrible service.
While the food is really, really well-done ""Floribbean""-style cuisine, the attitude and lack of attentiveness make the place just not worth the effort.
The cafe manager, in particular (some weird chick with hideous, dyed-pink hair) has a horrendous attitude.
I went with some friends, and as she was seating us, she asked if we were eating. I told her that I was only having a coffee, but- and then she interrupted me and began almost shouting that she couldn't seat us if we weren't there to eat. I told her- if you'd let me finish what I was saying, I'M not eating, but my friends ARE. She said something to the effect of, Well, they better!
I could not believe what I was hearing, and I turned to my friends and said, Let's just go somewhere else, this is unbelievable. They completely agreed, and we left.
A MUCH better place to go is L.A. Cafe, located at 1570 Alton Road. It has the same executive chef as The Cafe at B&B, so you get all the delicious food without the nasty-bitch attitude.
