Ditto the above comments about delivery. I purchased $6600 worth of bedroom furniture with an estimated delivery date of 10-14 weeks. It has now been 27 weeks and still nothing. I called 5 times to the sales staff and got no response other than it was ""back ordered."" Despite my request they call the manufacturer, Lexington Furniture in NC, for an update and let me know what was going on, they never did. At the 19 week mark I went in to see the manager personally. He called back a few days later saying he spoke with the company and the furniture was in stock and that it would arrive in 1-2 weeks. After no calls, I called back 3 weeks later. Again, a phone call to the company revealed it was in stock and would be 1-2 weeks for delivery. 3 weeks passed and I have recently gotten a hold of the ""new"" manager. Still no call back.
I don't know if this company is running a scam or what. I do know customer service and communication is virtually nonexistent. They will take your money and not deliver anything. If the line they fed me about the furniture being ""in stock"" at Lexington is true and just had not shipped yet, I would be willing to throw a large bit of blame on Lexington. But given their record so far, I am not willing to believe anything they have told me. One of their sales staff told me, in person, that since I had signed the contract stating the delivery was only an ""estimate,"" I could not cancel or get a refund without paying the restocking fee. Now, I know this isn't true (see the Uniform Commercial Code, Goods of Sale Act, etc.). And the reason that this person works as a furniture sales rep in the first place is indicative of low test scores, not knowledge of the law. But it is emblematic as to how they treat their customers.
I have already filed two complaints with the Better Business Bureau and am currently looking for the regional manager's contact info for both Treasures and Lexington. I cannot in good conscience recommend this store to anyone. Undoubtedly, Treasures tops my list of consumer nightmares.
Pros: Nice furniture
Cons: Customer Service, Communication, Sales Staff, Delivery, etc.
