Sorry that your experience at Bent Pages was unpleasant. Traffic in Houma can be aweful, sorry for that too. Maybe if you were in Houma a bit more often, you would learn to appreciate it and its people quite a bit more. With that, if you really knew how hard the staff at Bent Pages work to service their customers, you would understand why the store was closed for the week; everyone needs a vacation, even you. As far as BooksAMillion, try their service, try their knowledge, wait for someone to return a phone message, go ahead and wait because they offer any of these things.... Besides, Bent Pages has over 650,000 titles, great prices WITH "book buy back" credit, will find anything you want and ship it to you, walk in more than twice and they will know you by name and reading preferences, (try any of those at BookAMillion), and most of all, they are a locally owned and operated business and Houma is lucky to have them.
