So my husband and his co-workers had been raving about a breakfast/brunch spot fairly close to their office--The Original Pancake House in the Publix shopping center on the corner of Cheshire Bridge and Lavista Rd...today was the first day I could go there with him myself...and boy was the food worth it! I ordered a short stack of (3 large, fluffy, light, and ridiculously tasty) pumpkin pancakes--delish! I also ordered a scrambled egg on the side, as well as a medium order of fresh blueberries with equally fresh whipped cream and powdered sugar on its side. Everything was really good, and I'm a stickler for good food...\r
...the only problem was our server--her service was flat, she was less than friendly, and was absolutely unable to describe one of their house specials, the Apple Pancake. Out of frustration, I decided to forego the Apple Pancake order and ordered the pumpkin pancakes. However, I was really glad I did--those pumpkin pancakes were to die for! \r

If you can make their hours, definitely check this Cheshire Bridge treat out! :)
Pros: food was perfectly fresh and delicious
Cons: service not so much...wish it was open all-day
