Worst Customer Service 5/3/2010

I booked an appointment with a stylist at True Blue Salon a couple of months ago. On my way to the salon Saturday morning, there was a wreck that closed down both sides of the interstate. I called the salon to let them know I was going to be late and was greeted by the rudest receptionist ever. She sounded incredibly put out and told me to hold. 7 minutes later (looking at my cell to see how long the hold time was) she told me, ""well, we can try to get you in, but you realize that we won't be able to blow dry or style your hair right?"" I asked her what the point was for coming in then and asked to reschedule the appointment. She told me not to because the stylist would lose money and that's the last thing that I would want to do to someone. WTF When I arrived at the the receptionist knew who I was there to see and wouldn't look at me. The stylist then came and got me and brought me back to her chair. Did I mention that I was only 10 minutes late for my appointment? 15 minutes later, another client came in and the stylist had to manage two people. The poor girl was so stressed and apologized profusely the entire time. I told her that I offered to reschedule and what the receptionist had said to me. She was really embarrassed. I walked out of the salon with wet hair and 40 degree weather. Even thought the color was amazing and the stylist tried to handle the best she could, the salon was incredibly over-priced and I was more stressed when I left then when I was stuck in traffic trying to get there. The reason why I don't mind paying double price for a hair cut and color is for the relaxing experience. I'll never step foot in this salon ever again. If you need a great place to get your hair done, there are several right in that area that will make you feel welcome, relaxed and do a way better job. more
