I discovered Grotto recently and it's my new favorite spot. This hidden, casual, romantic and fun place has an amazing Italian menu, fun waitresses and real bartenders.
I'm in love with their melted smoked cheese on a board with garlic toasts, the most tender polipo (octopus) I ever had and arancino with prosciutto and mozzarella. Other times I had carbonara, some pasta with wild boar, steak (!!!) and whole fish, I think branzino. Everything was always excellent, fresh and full of flavor.
Bartenders in Grotto know what they are doing following high mixology. Cocktail list is small, but every cocktail surprises with unique taste (I had them all).
Grotto is great! Very casual, but high quality.
And everybody there are always so welcoming.
