I have been working with Julene at Ariel's Advanced Skincare, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I went to her a few weeks ago with a bad breakout and red splotches/scarring on my very fair skin. She immediately halted the breakout and sped up the recovery process in a way I did not think was possible for my face. I have had extractions, etc. before in excellent salons, and Julene is by far the most careful, thorough, kind, skilled esthetician ever to work on me.
Julene and Ariel have a highly educated but also holistic view of skincare--they taught me all about the lymph system in the face and neck, which I had no idea was contributing to my acne (no esthetician or dermatologist has ever said a thing about it). Julene set me up with some amazing mineral cosmetics that don't irritate or block my skin. She totally understands that I'm working with a budget, and she helped me choose the best products in my price range.
I have gone back to Julene a few more times this month for brief touch-up treatments. I wish, wish, wish I had before-and-after pictures, because they would be unbelievable. For the past ten years, I have been wearing concealer and foundation every day to cover blemishes and scars. After just one month, I have much less to conceal, and I'm starting to think that Julene is going to make it possible for me to leave the house without all that cover-up. With my problem skin, it seems like a miracle. She also gave me a quick and perfect brow wax last week!
Julene is a true healer and a joy to work with. Everyone should be lining up at her door. I usually don't write this kind of review but I have been so blown away by my positive experience with her that I have to spread the word.
