I've lived in Virginia Beach my whole, long life. Lots of good restaurants, very few great ones. This sushi place is unlike all others in the greater Hampton Roads area. It's clean, smells fresh (not of old fish), the ambiance is great (they usually play JAZZ music), service is fabulous as is the food. It doesn't look like much from the outside...but on the inside it is a jewel!
The owner and head sushi chef not only serve the freshest sea food in town, but it is artistically presented. It's the real deal when it comes to sushi.
My family and I eat there at least once a week. It's our favorite place to go; hands down. If you want great food, great ambiance and good service, this is the place!
It's New Year's Eve, and that's where my party is heading.
