I visited Davids Bridal today. It was the first time I was trying on any wedding dresses. I also had a few of the bridesmaids along so that they could try on as well. Although I didn't have an appointment they were very friendly & welcoming and I received a personable sales associate. She took the list I had made (looked online prior to arriving so I had an idea of what I wanted). She told me to look for a pair of shoes to ware while she gathered my dresses, bra, & slip. She was kind enough to allow my mother-in-law to be in the dressing room to help me change (I'm not too big into changing in front of strangers). She was very helpful with pointing out things that would look good with my body type. While I was trying on a few, she started gathering from my list the bridesmaids dresses. She told me of the ones they didn't have in stock and of the ones that wouldn't come in the color I had chosen. She found sizes that were close to my bridesmaids and if they were too big she pinned them up so they would fit close to appropriatly.
