Have been a loyal customer for years at Lenscrafters in monroeville Pa. I have a very complicated perscription and was very well taken care of by a gentleman named Drew who is a very well trained and professional optician. I was due for another exam this year and proceeded to the monroeville store for my yearly exam. Upon leaving the Dr. office I was greeted by a pleasant young lady who didnt tell me her name but offered to help me select my new eyeglasses. I was concerned that she did not mention anything about my high perscription and only seemed to care about selling me the most expensive product. I asked if I could speak to Drew and she said he no longer worked there. I asked if the manager was availiable ( I believe her name is Eileen) But they said she was at lunch and probably wouldn't be back for at least an hour or so. The price for my new pair of glasses was going to be over 625 dollars and I asked for my perscription so I can go somewhere else. Upon leaving the store a couple of the Girls up front of the store told me that Although Drew was probably the best optician in the company, he got blamed for the store not meeting its goals last year and had to be let go. They told me I could reach him at visionworks somewhere. Why do good companies let the best people leave. It seems all they care about at Lenscrafters is upselling me instead of asking me what I wanted. I guess i'll be taking myself and my family somewhere else where they care about the customer and not just how much I buy more
