Staff is not permitted to discuss this policy nor are they allowed to accept cash on the side. So pay your bill and leave no tip at all. Go a step further and show your disapproval of this type of practice by informing the owner the reason you've left no gratuity. And be sure to continue spreading the word. \r

I would probably eat here more often however I am in disagreement with restaurant owner's practice of withholding tips for himself.
