My Taurus transmission developed problems and I had it towed to the first shop who said my transmission was totally blown out and that I needed a new one for well over $2000.00. Erik at Remanufactured Transmission was very nice, had it towed from the other shop. He and his technician found out my tork converter was stripped (whatever that is!) Sounded expensive, and scary, but the cost to fix my transmission was a fraction of my first estimate. My transmission is performing like new again and I've got new friends in the transmission business. Hey Erik, remember I have a meal on the house at my restaurant! Thank God I did my research, it really paid off! Thanks, guys, business is a little slow right now, so every penny counts.\r

This is THEE place to go, BTW, I found out they do all kinds of repairs, not just transmissions, so I'm sure I'll need them again soon.
