I lived at these apartments for 2 years...and after that, I had enough. I lived for 1 year right across from the pool...BIG MISTAKE! They have this lawn crew that comes at 8 AM with blowers to ""keep the pool clean"". So they go around for about an hour just blowing around leaves at the wee hours of the morning. So if you enjoy sleeping in...don't live near the pool. Bad idea.
As for the interior...I lived in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom (near the pool) and the other was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. The 1 bedroom was okay, but you can just tell that everything was ""fixed"" enough to their standards...meaning really poorly fixed. The air ducts AREN'T clean, they just simply paint over them. In the 2 bedroom, the walls were separating, there was a 2x4 stuck in the air ducting that apparently NOBODY knew about...shows how much they cared to clean and check things. Mind you, this 2x4 was found after about the 8th time of calling the maintenance people out to check our air conditioning...after the apartment in the middle of the summer was exceeding temperatures of 80 degrees. All they could say was ""change the filter"". Yeah...I think not. The kitchen sink pipe actually split apart after using the disposal, and when the maintenance man tried to fix it, the whole pipe just fell out through the wall...to where we could see into the apartment adjacent to ours. Window screens were bent back from people trying to break in...they also said we had brand new carpet...and that was a lie. They didn't even get a cleaning crew in before we moved in(upon move-out we were told the carpets were over 2 yrs old). We still found remnants of the previous tenant when we were moving in...and apart from all of the maintenance and cleaning issues....paint jobs weren't even completed around the mantle...and the built-in bookshelves were broken, and so were the shelves in the closet. NOTHING on our initial walk-through got fixed. Maintenance is terrible, the management is even worse and always keeps changing employees...even pest control issues were never resolved. On top of all that, security isn't all that great, considering over the Christmas holiday last year, a car was broken into, and the car, plus all the glass, just sat there for weeks. Ridiculous. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was for school. I hated that place. Don't live here!!!
