Wow! My friend mentioned he wanted to take me to ""this little place that you would never know was so good from the look of it on the outside"". He was so right! It's completely non-descript from the outside and has no windows. Inside, it's a magical little escape from the city. There are rustic tables large enough to seat a party of twelve and private booths for a romantic little dinner by christmas light. It's really charming. There is also a jukebox. I can usually tell if the meal is going to be good by the quality of the salsa and the salsa, pico de gallo, and pickled veggies served with the fresh tortilla chips were all excellent. So, in turn, was our meal. There are decent vegetarian options too. Come here soon and say you were there before it blew up on the hipster scene.
Pros: Private booths, no hipsters, stellar salsa
Cons: No tequila for margaritas, but they do have mexican beer
