my initial business with move improve was quite pleasant as david was patient and very accomodating of my questions and concerns. he gave me a very likeable time frame for the delivery of my car and household goods, although it was only my car that i got on time (but after a grueling experience with a very rude dispatcher.) let me start with the day of pick up. penske truck staff came on the day as promised, but not until 830pm. i was told when i first booked that the truck will arrive first thing that morning. a few days after i arrived in my new place, i was happy to receive news that my car was in the state and is ready to be delivered, as soon as i have $600 (supposedly the balance) to hand in to the truck driver. i had explained lengthily to the dispatcher that i had paid for everything even before they shipped my car and household goods, but he was rude and unconvinced. after numerous calls with david and jason (the manager) i guess the dispatcher was convinced and told me the car will be delivered the next day. come tomorrow, he told me my car could not be delivered due to lack of personnel being it a holiday. so that was fine with me. 2days after, i gave him a call and asked what time my car will be delivered, and he said he is ready whenever i have the $600. it was ridiculous. and it would be too long for me to even write all the details here. the bottomline is, communication between move improve and penske trucks and this dispatcher was very inefficient that it is the customer who suffers. jason tried hard to solve the problem. so, after 2days, i ended up fetching my car in a place 1 hour away from the intended place of delivery. i compromised just so i could get my car. for the household goods, i cannot tell you the numerous calls i made to different people (i was given lots of numbers to make ff ups) to know when i would finally have them delivered. to make the story short, i got them 2 weeks behind promised schedule. i thought i could finally sleep good and put all the stress away, until i found a luggage lost. again, i made calls until finally i was told they could not find it and i have to make a claim. im so tired having to deal with all of these. please think twice before you use move improve. i couldve listened to another reputable company (altho they charged a little bit more) when the representative said that "move improve" sounds like a stupid name for a relocation company; and i kinda agree to that. Pros: office staff accommodating Cons: very poor service. goals promised not met. more
