I took my pet in 2 weeks ago for gastroenteritis. The clinic vet did a check-up and gave me an on the spot quote. The quote was exactly what I paid. They were helpful however I have had some difficulty having my insurance claim form filled out and faxed over to the insurance company. Veterinarians are in many instances about the money. You can prevent many medical emergencies with preventative services like teeth cleaning and regular check-ups and shots. Make sure you have pet insurance it can reimburse you up to 80%. I also have a care credit card especially for my dog so I don't have to pay out of pocket costs.
