The White Horse tavern is most famous as the bar where Welsh writer Dylan Thomas drank himself to death (at least that's what legend says). One room is like a shrine to him, with portraits, pictures of his home, etc.\r
The menu is fairly standard bar food - good burgers and sandwiches at reasonable (especially for the Village) prices. The choices of beer are also standard. The back rooms are fairly quiet.
