Our doctor at Rock Creek Vet Hospital was awful and spoke down to me (a female) when speaking to us about our dog. We do not have a medical background, we do not know medical lingo, so just relax and explain it, more than once if need be. Our dog was very, very sick with a mystery illness and the vet did not know what was wrong, so his solution was to just keep running tests and us to keep paying for them. The tests did not make any sense, either. I do not think that particular doctor is there anymore. Until we find a good vet, we will continue to use, and LOVE Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin (http://www.nwdogrescue.com/maps/tualatin.html). The charges are the same as daytime vets -- and trust me, we have run the gamut this year: full on hospital stays, IVs, you name it, we paid for it. In any event, I would not recommend Rock Creek Vet Hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon on 185 Ave Ave near Walker.
