El Maguey has a spectacular location, just half a block from the Mission Parish. Everything is homemade! My absolute favorite is the grilled carne asada with fresh guacamole, rice, beans and corn tortillas all covered in their infamous house salsa. I have been going to this establishment for years and would recommend it to any tourist exploring San Juan!
