We ""discovered"" this great little spot a couple of years ago, and it's one of our favorites! We like to patronize independent restaurants in our neighborhood, and we really hadn't even seen this place before. The best pizza, superb sandwiches, and if you want a 'sit-down' Italian dinner, here you go. Abby and Andy are the owners, and what a fun couple they are! For dinner, we just walk in and just say, ""Hey, Andy, fix me something good."" He will say something like, ""you like ????"" Sure I do! Look at the menu if you want, but you are wasting your time...take Andy's suggestions. Always fantastic. You want all the lavish frills and expensive atmoshere that you pay for but can't eat? This ain't it. It's just a small, yet comfortable place for a for a good meal, with very reasonable pricing. We have never been disappointed. No wonder we like Stella Mare so much. I saw another review that was rather critical....do you go to the same Stella Mare we do?
