Apparently taste is relative.
I live in Long Beach, in the Walks, and every visit to this place has been exactly what I expected- and more. I knew that I wasn't in a West End joint with drunk-friendly portions of bar food, and knew that organic, crafted gourmet is not loaded with salt and other flavor disguises, again like barfood.
Our family wasn't too sure how we felt about this place when we first heard about it, but they've won us over with their excellent customer service, unique/classy design and great organic food (plus, the lounge is kid friendly!).
Pros: Great showing in a town that needs more... class
Cons: Too many locals want it gone
