If you like chicken salad, get yourself to the Cafe at Pharr. This place makes the most phenomenal chicken salad on earth and they have freshly baked bread daily. I think the key to this fabulous chicken salad is that they don't add too much mayo, which will ruin a great chicken salad.\r

The curry chicken salad is not too heavy, but adds a slight kick, while the celery is just plain & simple, but perfect. The walnut (my favorite) adds a slight hint of sweetness to the salad. I suggest ordering the salad plate & mixing the chicken salad, the green salad and dressing up all up into one delicious plate. Ask for extra bread and enjoy! Once you go, you'll never look back at another lunch spot!
