I went to Spiteris because the add said they were number 1. It seemed great up front. I spoke to someone on the phone and he assured me they had 2 mechanics very familiar with my car. I already had the oil pressure measured and left the results on the seat for their mechanics. I already had someone listen with a stethascope and isolate the problem to 1 of 2 places, bearings or timing chain. I told him what had been done and asked him if they could drop the oil pan and confirm it was not the bearings. He said no problem: He said 2 hours labor but I'd have to wait until Wednesday. Mechanic called me Mon and said he could take care of it that day, he'd call me at 11am. He asked a lot of questions and I told him about the knocking and oil pressure light and he thanked me for leaving the oil pressure results on the seat. He never indicated that he had any clue of what to look for. Strange for someone who purportedly knew the car well. He never called back so I called him and the first 2 tim
