DO NOT USE VALVOLINE EXPRESS!
Took my car in for my first state inspection. Staff ignored me after making eye contact. They were sitting in the garage with no cars to work on and I had to go in the garage that said DO NOT ENTER and ask them to help me. It was my first state inspection so I had a few questions but the staff did not answer them except with generalities like ""We look at everything."" He was extremely condescending towards me and acted like I was a burden to him.
When my vehicle failed I asked why and the guy said ""I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!"" storms out of the room and the boss comes in. Tells me that my windshield wipers were not working. Which is odd since they were working amazing in the last rain storm 2 days ago and did not leave behind any water after a wipe. He said they were ripped up and old. I paid and he said ""now when you come back don't be expecting that I am going to bump you to the front of the line,. cuz that's not how it works and a lot of customers think they can just walk in to the front of the line but you have to wait like everyone else."" (I looked around the empty, dirty, pathetic shop and bit my tongue)
Went home and looked at my blades, they have been ripped and messed with and now they do not work like they did 2 days ago.
I am not sure what their motive was for making this such a hassle, usually when someone comes in from out of state as their first inspection you would want their repeat business for as long as they live here.
Cons: service quality, dishonest employees
