Dr Tjoa made my pregnancy experience the worst ever. She is very controlling and gets angry when you question her directive. During my first pregnancy, she put me on medication that made my situation worse and she totally disregarded me when other doctors would give me opposite advice. She yells when she speaks. She waits until the last possible moment to give you vital information. Not only did she wait until my 8th month to give me her bill (that clearly states you are able to make payments for up to 7 months) and required me to make the payment in full prior to delivery,but she waited until a few days before my scheduled c-section to change the delivery date due to a ""meeting"". I suffer from hypertension and everytime I entered her office, my BP was high (even if it was normal just before) and she would fuss at me like a child because of it. When I would try to speak, she would cut me off and continue her point. Her favorite line is ""I've been doing this for 20 + years..."" It is obvious that she is set in her ways and does not care about her patients' well-being. If you care about yourself and/or your unborn child, choose another doctor!
