Reliable shop, great people 10/27/2009

If it were possible to give six stars I would....maybe even ten stars. My car was rear-ended by a local attorney, who ended up being totally uncooperative and refused to return calls from his insurance company so they were taking an exceptionally long time to accept liability. The left lower corner of my bumper was crunched and made it so I couldn't open my trunk. I took my car to get an estimate from George V Arth & Sons as it was one of the shops contracting with the insurance company of the person at fault. The estimate was very reasonable. Because I couldn't open my trunk I decided to take the car in to get repaired before finding out if the insurance company would accept liability. I made the appointment on a Friday with Renee and found out that she had called the insurance company herself and given them an earful about how irresponsible they were being (THANK YOU RENEE!!!). We scheduled the appointment for Tuesday and she said the car would be ready in 24 hours. I dropped off the car on Tuesday morning and on Tuesday afternoon received a call from Ron letting me know that there was more damage so the estimate was lower than the charges would be. Hearing me get upset, Ron told me not to worry and said if the insurance company ended up not accepting liability he would negotiate a lower cost for me. That's pretty amazing coming from any business these days. The car was finished promptly the next morning. I picked it up later that afternoon and the work looked great. They had washed my car, the new piece of my car was shiny and looked like new and my trunk had been all fixed up. I was completely happy with the work. Ron and Renee were so fantastic to interact with. I will definitely bring my car back anytime something goes wrong whether or not they contract with my insurance. more
