Drive-ins are a dying breed. 1/21/2009

I have never writen a review before, but this drive-in is near and dear to me.\r This is one of the last drive-ins left in America. It is getting run down due to age and the reluctance to invest any money into fixing it up, they have been saying it will close for at least 4 years now, but it is still open for now (1-21-09) (we all know how few strip malls we have, let's build another one!).\r I give it a five star rating mainly since it's the only one left this side of SanFrancisco, there are none left to compare it to.\r Going to the drive-in on a hot summer night is one of tha last remnants of America's great age of steel, they are going fast, there are some were around 36 drive-ins left in all of America.\r You owe it to your kids and yourself to go before it's gone, my kids and I have very fond memories of summer nights at the drive-in.\r I have been a summer and winter regular for years and have never had any isues with staff, the main drawback is the run-down condition of the building (especialy the toilets, they are worse then horrid!).\r Go while you still can, it is totaly differant experiance from a sit down theater.\r They have two small playgrounds for kids and a bunch of video games inside.\r You can find movie listings at westwindpublicmarkets web site.\r \r celticmagick Pros: parking, playground, video games, family friendly Cons: concesion stand old, toilets horrible, food expensive (bring your own). more
