I had a house designed in 2008. Frankly, it was the easiest experience regardless of what has been said on this site. I got the house I wanted at an affordable rate. It wasn't a huge house but I got what I wanted and it was extremely cheap compared to the quote I received at an architect's office. \r
The process was simple and we had about 5 total meetings and the house was ready for engineering, which I really appreciated was included in the bid. We also had very few problems that developed during the building process.\r
Overall, a very good experience!
