Wow, I was stunned to find that this dogshit of a company is still in business. I worked there while in college at IUP -- when they didn't meet their survey quota, they forced us to call people as late as 11:00 pm to conduct hour-long phone surveys. Take a guess as to how that turned out. We weren't allowed to tell respondents how long the surveys would be, so if someone said, "I only have a couple of minutes," we were to continue knowing full well that the survey was going to take an hour. We were also consistently told to lie about our location.
Basically, we were paid to lie to people, wake them up out of bed, and waste their time. Oh, and if they didn't reject us 3 times before hanging up, we had to call them back again. An amazingly piss-poor way to collect "useful" consumer data. The management there consisted of illiterate high-school drop-out-types who suddenly felt power hungry now that they had climbed the corporate ladder and were managing...a small-town call center. I quit after submitting a request to take a day off on my birthday 2 weeks beforehand; they had forgotten to look at the request, so it was denied.
You could make much more money waiting tables, where you'd work with more intelligent people and put up with a lot less nonsense. DON'T make the mistake of working here. Even filling out the application will be a waste of your valuable time. Obviously, the 3-star review it currently has here was added by the management.
Pros: It's better than working at a sweatshop for Kathy Lee...well, maybe not.
Cons: Being forced to lie to customers, call them at outrageous hours, and keep calling them back after they rejected us.
